The yearly festival of the miraculous St.John the Hermit . On the 8th. of October , which is held below the church in the plaza every year. Many visitors have been coming for hundreds of years. And the Koukoutsakis family has been looking after this festival as long as they can remember. Many people come to tell their problems to the saint and ask for his blessing. If you happen to be in Crete, Greece at that time then come to Azogires to join this festivity.
